February 24th 2013 the Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework (PSCF) for the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Region was signed. The aim was to stop backing rebellions in DRC. The gender audit conducted by Kvinna till Kvinna together with International Alert shows that gender perspectives were not only missing from the framework, but that women lacked any formal representation in the drafting process and are not fully recognized as implementers.
