Our Advocacy Work

An important part of The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation is to inform of the conditions of women in war and conflict and to promote conflict resolution through civil methods. The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has noticed a lack of knowledge of the conditions of women in war and conflict. Our information is based on knowledge from partner organisations that we have contact with. The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation's advocacy work strengthens the work of women's organisations. We strive for women to participate in peace and democratic processes. We work to improve development assistance, peace promoting and security creating efforts. Information can arouse commitment and thus create opinion for change of the prevailing situation. The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation's information targets the general public as well as decision-makers and people in power position. We believe that by spreading our knowledge and information we can improve the conditions for women in war and conflict. We also believe that this knowledge can improve peace prospects.
