Macedonia

The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has been active in Macedonia since 1999. Our work is coordinated from the capital Skopje.

Kvinna till Kvinna supports a number of women’s organisations around the country that work for increased gender equality and women’s rights.

Our partner organisations work against gender-based violence and seek to improve women’s health and increase their political participation. They educate women about their rights – not least to help implement the Law on Equality between Men and Women that was approved in 2006 – and create meeting places for women and girls from different ethnic groups.
