The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has been working with women in Bosnia-Herzegovina since 1994. We have a field office in Sarajevo.
During and immediately after the war in the early 1990s, Kvinna till Kvinna chiefly supported women’s centres offering psychosocial support and advice on health issues.
Our partner organisations still carry out this type of work, but more and more of them are now working on a political level to change legislation and improve women’s status in society. An important part of this work is the collaboration between women’s organisations and women in political parties.
