The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation started working in Albania in 1999 and opened a field office in the capital Tirana in 2002.
Our partner organisations primarily work with the prevention of gender-based violence and the provision of support to its victims. Other important issues for the women’s movement are human trafficking and women’s participation in politics and the labour market.
