Armenia

The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation began cooperating with women's organisations in Armenia in 2004. The work is coordinated by a coordinator stationed in the regional office in the Georgian capital Tbilisi. We now support four organisations in Armenia. Some of them work with women's human rights and to increase women's status and participation in society and in politics. Two organisations focus on young women. One organisation is especially working with gender awareness and discrimination of women at universities. One organisation focus on domestic violence and trafficking.
