Africa

Central and Western Africa are the newest of the Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation’s regions, starting in 2006. We work with women’s organizations in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Liberia, two nations that for a long time have been ravaged by war. We hope that in a near future our work within Africa can take more  of a regional perspective, since many of the conflicts, and their repercussions, cross nation’s borders. Our two first regions will be the Great Lakes area, where DRC is situated, and the Mano River area, where Liberia is situated.
